Tuition Fees and Financial Support
Understanding your tuition fees and financial support options is essential when planning your studies. Whether you’re studying full-time or part-time, there are various financial aid opportunities available to help you manage costs. Below, we break down the key funding options for different types of students
Full-Time Students
If you’re studying full-time, you may be eligible for a tuition fee loan covering up to £9,000 per year, ensuring your fees are taken care of. Repayments only begin after graduation and once your earnings exceed a certain income threshold, making it a manageable way to invest in your future. Additionally, maintenance loans and grants may be available to help with living costs, providing extra financial support throughout your studies.
Part-Time Students
Part-time students can also access a tuition fee loan, with repayments starting when earning over £21,000 per year. Unlike full-time students, repayments begin in April, four years after starting the course, even if studies are still ongoing. However, there are no maintenance loans or grants for part-time students, so careful financial planning is essential. If you wish to pay off your loan sooner, you can make voluntary repayments at any time without any penalties.
